Can someone honestly love a person who have been deceived for thirty years? This is the question that arises in Neil LaBute’s Wrecks.
The playwright made with great skill, a text that delves into the pain, the memories and the dark side of human nature. The character is Edward Carr, a good father, successful businessman, a "normal" man in the midst of the loss of his love.
LaBute plays in his play with the limits of love and the “socially accepted parameters” opposed to one's desire.
