Traza (Trace) is a performative journey that takes us from the present lost in the void towards a utopian projection arising from the heritage architecture of La Prensa building. Traza deconstructs the inherited form, assumes the present and wonders about the future, postulating as a starting point for its foundation the invocation of tangent, oblique lines and other vanishing points.
As the axis of the project, we have commissioned different artists to design and create their pieces under the slogan of immateriality, challenging each one to focus on the internal logic of their own work as well as on the establishment of nerve terminals that allow intertwine with the others.
Thus, Traza is the result of a profuse circulation that seeks to generate passages between what is above and what is below, between the individual and the collective, between the traces of past time and a possible future engineering; its journey is proposed as a voyeuristic tour willing to look through the glitter and perhaps discover among its reflections some of the risks of that dream of a Latin American Paris.
