Diccionario Utópico de Teatros (Utopian Dictionary of Theatres)

El Diccionario Utópico de Teatros is an object that contains the thoughts and reflections of more than 30 artists, referents of the contemporary theatre scene.
Each artist is assigned a word linked to the theatrical world and addresses it by defining an origin, a current meaning and, above all, a utopian projection: future, ideal, hopeful meanings.
The objective of the project is to establish a network of thought on the Buenos Aires scene, making known languages, terms and concepts that constitute our theatrical heritage, while paying the history of theatre from valuable reference material for artists, teachers, students, researchers and the general public.
The dictionary has two forms: digital and in book format. For the first version, half of the artists read their lectures on a set set up for the occasion; the other half construct a lecture performance on that same set. In this way, the dictionary in its digital version will be made up of 26 conferences and performances (from A to Z).
For the edition of the book, the 26 written texts and a sum of images about the work process will be published. This work will be carried out with the publishing house DocumentA/Escénicas, specialised in performing arts and contemporary culture.
